POKOTABI / Marushō
焼肉まるしょう
Marushō in Minami-Senju serves daytime grilled-meat sets featuring tender premium short ribs and select cuts, alongside offal platters suited for pairing with beer and sours.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
At Marushō, diners sear meat over tabletop gas roasters before digging into bowls of steamed white rice. The lunch menu includes sets such as the Kalbi & Loin Lunch, the Premium Kalbi Lunch, and the Special Lunch featuring 3 rare cuts selected for the day. Each meal comes served as a complete teishoku set with soup, salad, kimchi, and a small side dish. The tender meat and rich, savory juices of the Premium Kalbi Lunch make it a perennial favorite with rice. Portions can be increased to 1.5x or 2x the standard meat serving, allowing guests to adjust the meal to their appetite.
Kimchi and a light soup accompany each set, refreshing the palate between bites of rich grilled beef. Those settling in for a slower meal with a drink can pair draft beer or a pub-style lemon sour with an offal assortment or extra kimchi while the cuts sizzle over the burner.
The dining room features both Western-style tables and traditional tatami seating, comfortably welcoming dining groups as well as solo guests cooking at their own pace.
